The Story
The other day I awoken with a longing. Has that every happened to you? Have you ever felt like you just needed a shot of strength or at least just to know that someone was with you, holding you up in prayer?
On this particular day, life was large and the voice of peace was faint. I looked around about me in search of fulfillment only to discover that "I" was my own encourager. I literally had the God-given power and spirit of faith to encourage myself in the Lord.
So in response to that revelation, I remembered:
Proverbs 3:4 "Let not mercy and truth forsake thee; bind them about thy neck; WRITE them on the table of thine heart."
SO I BEGAN TO WRITE DOWN THE WORDS THAT WOULD GIVE ME THE COURAGE I NEEDED!!!
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding" Prov 3:5
"I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me" Phil 4:13
"I can be strengthened with might, by His Spirit in the inner man" Eph 3:16b
WOW! Other women need to know this courage. So I asked myself, "How can I translate this feeling and give it to all ladies?" As I pondered that notion, I began to pray.
I heard the Lord say: "Use what's in your hand! And, I will use you to start a movememnt of courage for all women!
So I took that prompting literally- At that moment what was in my hand was a pen. Me , being a designer, I decided to design a pen which symbolizes a "point of contact": Something that is tangible and accessible which reminds you to take courage for whatever the situation.
As you use this particular writing utensil for : FILLING OUT CHECKS, CONTRACTS, MEDICAL FORMS, TAX PAPERWORK, TEST, QUIZZES, NOTES OF ANY KIND
then you would be joining hundreds of women in Prayer, Faith and Strength. Women who have decided, like you, to STAND FIRM while going through the exact same challenges you are.
Together, we know that through every aspect of life, GOD WILL STRENGTHEN US!
As a visual, I grouped some high heal (Stiletto's) to signify the empowerment of Standing and planting your foot firmly on the ground without being moved or shaken
